'Maharshi' Day 2 Box Office Collection Shows Rock Steady Growth

Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu's 25th film 'Maharshi' has finally hit the screens today on May 9, 2019. Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, Pooja Hegde played the female lead in this film. The following is the detailed report on the distributor share that the film collected on the second day of the release in the Nizam area. Below is the worldwide share details.

First Day Share: 23.61 Cr

Second day share: 7.63 Cr

Total Share: 31.24 Cr

On overseas theatres on its first day, Maharshi reportedly fetched above $600K in the release centres across the US. The Mahesh Babu starrer is expected to have fetched almost the equal amount on day 2 as well. According to the reports, the film has touched the $900K mark till the late evening shows on Friday.

Maharshi is the story of Rishi (played by Mahesh Babu) who doesn’t like to fail. He fears failure. In the film, Mahesh essays three different roles. He is seen as a student, businessman and farmer. Talking about the film, Mahesh Babu earlier said, "I think Maharshi will be relatable to everyone. That is the beauty of an emotional script. Maharshi also has a very powerful point to make."
