Finally, the title song of multi-starrer movie 'Kalank' 'Kalank Nahi Ishq Hai' will be out tomorrow. A small portion of the song was also used in the teaser, which was launched two weeks ago. Since then, it has been hugely anticipated. The track is sung by Arijit Singh, written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and composed by Pritam. The trio previously worked on the title track of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which is still a favorite even after two years of its release.

The title track video will mainly focus on Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s characters and adhere to romantic genre. The video will also partly feature the big casts of the film — Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. In an interview Pritam said, "It has to be a bright and romantic number, which underlines the feeling one has when he or she starts loving someone intensely. It’s in the Indian spiritual space, something bordering on Sufi."

He also added, "The song describes the emotional space of the characters. I would give a lot of credit to Amitabh for writing a song with a word like kalank; it’s not easy and he wrote multiple versions of the song of which one made the cut. Arijit invested a lot of his energy into the track to make it soulful and beautiful. Director Abhishek Varman’s brief to us was very clear — it has to be a bright and beautiful romantic number, which underlines the feeling one has when he or she starts loving someone intensely. It’s in the Indian spiritual space, something bordering on Sufi. After the teaser was out, lot of people had asked me if the title track is dark. I can now tell them that it’s not dark. It’s beautiful and exceptionally romantic, with deep lyrics that can infuse a sense of passion in the listener."
